About Us

Who are we?
My name is Bert Rodriguez, and together with my son Daniel, we publish Lone Star Chronicles, a collection of outdoors stories, photographs, videos and informative articles about life, liberty and the pursuit of fish here in Texas. Our mission, to chronicle the outdoor adventures of our fellow Texans and maybe even one or two of ours. To that end, we offer the following:

Photos of the Day

This section is a collection of quality photographs, many of which are submitted to us by our readership. We will strive to post only the best quality photos that are both relevant and tell a story.

Videos
This is a collection of video from various sources, some of which are submitted to us by our readership. The proliferation of videos on the Internet means there are many good videos out there that deserve to be shared.

Fish Tales
We feature all sorts of outdoors related topics on Lone Star Chronicle, but with a tag line of “Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Fish”  we should, and do, have a section devoted to fishing related stories.

Survival

This section contains true stories of survival and articles related to building your survival acumen. Many of the stories featured here are submitted by our readers.

Humor Me
They say laughter is the best medicine.  Enough said.

Do you have a story that begs to be told? If so, submit your stories, photos and videos via email to: info@lonestarchronicles.com

Love your page. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Living in Ozona, we yearn for the river. We are lucky to have two to visit – the Pecos River and the Devils River.

Thank you, Louise, for reading. I would love to live that close to two such beautiful rivers.

Thanks, Kirby. Yes, please do read some of our other stories with an eye on how we can do a story about your cabin. I think your’s is a great story about hard work and persistence.
