About Us

What are we?
Lone Star Chronicles is a collection of short stories, photographs, videos and informative articles about life, liberty and the pursuit of fish here in Texas. My son and I publish this blog to chronicle the outdoor adventures of our fellow Texans and maybe even one or two of ours. Do you have a story that begs to be told? If so, see below for more information on submitting your stories and photos.

Photos of the Day
This section is a collection of quality photographs, many of which are submitted to us by our readership. We will strive to post only the best quality photos that are both relevant and tell a story. To submit your photographs for Photo of the Day, send the picture and a brief description to:  info@lonestarchronicles.com

This is a collection of video from various sources, some of which are submitted to us by our readership.  The proliferation of videos on the Internet (including social networking sites) means there are many good videos out there that deserve to be shared. If you want to share one, send the video (or hyperlink) to:  info@lonestarchronicles.com

Fish Tales
We feature all sorts of topics on Lone Star Chronicle, but with a sub-title like “Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Fish”  we of course have a section dedicated to fishing related reports and stories.  If you have a worthy fish tale and would like to see it featured here, then email us at: info@lonestarchronicles.com

This section contains true stories of survival and articles related to building your survival acumen. Again, we hope that many of the stories featured here will be submitted by our readers. To submit your survival stories, email us at: info@lonestarchronicles.com

Humor Me
They say laughter is the best medicine.  Enough said. To share your humor, email us at: info@lonestarchronicles.com

The Jets
What can I say? I’ve spent most of my adult life in the aerospace defense industry, and I love the aircraft, especially fighter jets and helicopters. So this section is a collection of photos and videos chronicling military aviation with an emphasis on fighter jets.

Please check back often as we continue to grow and add to our chronicles.

Love your page. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Living in Ozona, we yearn for the river. We are lucky to have two to visit – the Pecos River and the Devils River.

Thank you, Louise, for reading. I would love to live that close to two such beautiful rivers.
