When the Improbable Occurs

Sarah & Fish

Sometimes the improbable happens. For example, against all odds, Lone Star Chronicles has made it to the final round of the Kayak Angler’s Choice Awards. Thirty blogs from all over the country were nominated in the Blog of the Year category last month and after two weeks of voting, LSC has survived and made it to the final five.

We humbly thank everyone who voted for us in the first two rounds. I still say we don’t stand a chance of winning this thing, but what the hell…might as well make a contest of it, and that’s where you come in. Each round is a new vote, so if you haven’t already voted the third round then please do so here: Vote

For those of you who just clicked over from Yakangler.com, I’m gonna assume you haven’t heard of us and were wondering. Welcome. If this is your first time here, I’d like to offer you a small sampling of our work. Please feel free to peruse the site and let us know how you like it, and if you haven’t voted yet, well…just sayin’.

The Pummeling
The Pummeling
– Not kayak related, but a good fish tale none-the-less, and more importantly, a good lesson learned at someone else’s expense. Not gonna lie, I put a lot of work into this story and I’m proud of the results,  but the guy it’s about didn’t appreciate my write up…so you be the judge. Read here: The Pummeling
